We are are experiencing a major strike here in Puerto Cabezas and Waspam. No vehicles can leave or enter the two towns. All school and institutions have been ordered to close. The airport in PC and Waspam have been closed. It has to do with the up coming elections and unfulfilled promises made by the government. So far it has been peaceful. Viola is trapped in Managua and Jim in Puerto Cabezas. We have three US partnership teams that are on out in villages ministering. We also have a group of Miskito pastors in a leadership training seminar in Waspam.  Pray that it will be settled peacefully and that Viola can get home, the pastors can travel home, and the teams will be able to travel back to the US this weekend.
